Darwin Youth Beat is an innovative mobile outreach service that engages with young people and their families in Darwin’s Northern suburbs of Casurina and Palmerston. Youth Beat however is more than a mobile information service, the service engages with the community to find out what it requires and responds to its needs.

Roma House, a breakthrough in homeless services in QLD, was developed in partnership with the Queensland Government. The Service is unique in that it works with women and men as well as children. It moves beyond traditional services to provide a unique holistic support service that help’s Brisbane’s homeless get their lives back on track.
Pathways to Prevention Inala QLD, Feb 07
Pathways to Prevention was commenced in 2001 as an early intervention program. The success of this program is evidenced by the Prime Minister launching the first five year report in Canberra in December 2006. The program works with a number of culturally and linguistically diverse children and their families to reduce problem behaviours in young children and strengthen the features of the family.

Young people develop self confidence, participate in group and community activities and become more self-reliant.

This is because the staff give participants all the necessary tools required to not only establish a business but to ensure the ongoing success of their newly founded business.
